Ingredients

  • 4 fillets skinless haddock (about 6 oz each)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 wedges lemon (for serving)

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Mixing bowl
  • Measuring spoons
  • Spatula or Tongs

Method

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, kosher salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a flavorful marinade.
  2. Add the haddock fillets to the bowl and coat them thoroughly with the seasoning mixture. Allow them to marinate for about 10-15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  3. While the fish is marinating, preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  4. Place the coated haddock fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Cook the fillets at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time.
  6. In the last minute of cooking, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the fillets to allow it to melt.
  7. Once cooked, carefully remove the haddock from the air fryer and serve with fresh lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Store leftover cooked haddock in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
  • For a different flavor, try adding fresh herbs based on the season.
  • This recipe also works well with other fish like cod or tilapia.
