It wouldn’t be summer without a mezze platter.

Now for those of you who don’t know what a mezze platter is, it’s a perfect Mediterranean spread.

Basically, a party platter.

It’s great for home entertaining.

But it’s also equally portable.

I just throw it all on a sheet pan, add plastic wrap and transport as needed.

Here’s what you’ll need, which you can feel free to omit or substitute, of course:

  • Lavash bread
  • Olives
  • Feta
  • Artichoke hearts
  • Tabbouleh
  • Cucumber
  • Tomatoes
  • Hummus

This can be served as an appetizer.

But really, it’s a meal in and of itself.

Ingredients

  • 5 9 ″x12″ sheets lavash flatbread, cut into squares
  • 1 15-ounce can marinated artichoke hearts
  • 6 ounces feta cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes on the vine
  • 1 cup pitted green olives
  • 1 cucumber, sliced on a diagonal 1/2-inch thick
  • ½ cup Fisher® almonds
  • ½ cup tabbouleh, homemade or store-bougt
  • 1 cup hummus, homemade or store-bought
  • 1 cup red pepper hummus, homemade or store-bought
  • Instructions

    1. Arrange flatbread, artichoke, feta, tomatoes, olives, cucumber, almonds, tabbouleh and hummus on platter or wooden cheese board.
