There’s no need to go to San Diego for these fries. You can easily make this right at home, loaded with carne asada, guacamole, pico de gallo and sour cream!
When Jason and I make trips to San Diego, we never leave until we have a plate of carne asada fries. But sometimes we just don’t have the time to make it out there and fulfill our cravings. So when the kind folks over at CravOn sent me a sample of their fries to review, I knew I just had to recreate these fries.
Now these fries have actually never been fried and has 50% less fat than traditional frozen fries. It has all of the artery-clogging goodness fries have without actually the fried-ness! And when you top these babies off with carne asada, sour cream, and freshly made guacamole and pico de gallo, you won’t be able top stop eating this until it’s all gone. Jason and I were fighting for the last bite until we realized we just needed to make more!
Disclosure: CravOn provided me with a deluxe tasting package with 4 cuts of fries for review. All opinions expressed are my own.
